Avalanche Summary

Although you might not see or hear cracking and collapsing, the snowpack is not trustworthy on northerly and easterly-facing terrain. Small avalanches could break one to two feet deep, but the bigger concern is that you might trigger a large avalanche like a recent one in North Anthracite Creek. Triggering an avalanche from below or some distance away from is still a potential, especially from places where the snowpack is thin.
