Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be good over a wide area. The backcountry touring conditions are mostly favourable. As the temperature drops hardly any more moist and wet avalanches are possible. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.

In some localities 10 to 30 cm of snow, but less in some localities, will fall until Monday above approximately 2000 m. The old snowpack is well consolidated and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a strong melt-freeze crust. The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will hardly soften at all. In particular at intermediate and high altitudes there is still a very large amount of snow. As a consequence of new snow and wind the prevalence and size of the avalanche prone locations will increase on Monday.
