The large quantity of fresh snow of the last few days as well as the wind slabs are poorly bonded with the old snowpack in some places. The snowpack remains unstable above approximately 2300 m. Artificially triggered avalanches confirm this situation. Some large and, in isolated cases, very large natural avalanches are possible. This applies in case of releases originating from steep, high-altitude starting zones that still retain some snow. Several medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large dry and wet avalanches have been released on Monday. As a consequence of warming during the day dry and moist avalanches are possible, especially on sunny slopes, as well as in steep rocky terrain. During the day: Moderate northwesterly wind. The fresh wind slabs will form in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. In addition the wind slabs of Sunday are capable of being triggered in some locations.
