Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are safe from avalanches. If you are traveling in very steep, consequential terrain later in the afternoon, be extra careful if you notice your feet sinking deep into wet snow or you encounter recently wind-drifted, in the alpine. These are the few spots where you might be able to trigger a small avalanche, and even a small avalanche can be dangerous in extreme terrain.
