Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. The few places where you might be able to trigger a small avalanche are where you find hard, hollow, wind-drifted snow on slopes steeper than about 35 degrees. Even small avalanches can be dangerous if you are above features like cliffs or rocks, which will increase the consequences of tumbling down the mountain in moving debris.
