Lo esencial
Strong northwest winds have formed isolated pockets of new dense slab up to one foot deep. These stiff pockets of surface slab lie upon hard old snow surfaces and could be human triggered on steep wind loaded slopes.
Avalanche Discussion
Skies are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of some light snowfall. Mountain temperatures will rise to near 30 degrees and winds will be east-northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Isolated pockets of dense surface slab up to 12 inches deep exist and could be human triggered on steep wind loaded slopes.
