There is a persistent weak layer buried in the snow pack under older wind slabs which can be easy to trigger. In a few places this problem can cause large avalanches (size 3). Be also careful in areas with wind deposited snow from the last 24 hours, where a few avalanches can release by themselves during the snowfall.
