  Light snowfall has buried a surface hoar layer. It is not a concern for large avalanches but will cumulate into a problem as windloading and new snow input occurs. It is found more preserved TL and below as winds flatten it in the alpine.

  A large trigger such as a cornice failure or shallow spots for people could initiate the basal facets on steep unsupported NE aspects. Conditions are generally safe yet watch for unstable snow on isolated terrain features.
