Avalanche Summary

You may be able to trigger a small avalanche in the alpine on slopes that face north to northeast through east. Use care on slopes directly below ridgelines or in steep gullies where you find continuous snow and stiff, supportable layers over weak snow. A small avalanche can cause severe injury if carried over exposed rocks.
