Lo esencial

Up to four feet of new snow has fallen at the upper elevations since early Tuesday morning. At the mid and upper elevations southwest winds have formed soft surface slabs two to four feet in depth. The potential for humans to trigger these slabs will increase as the day warms. The spontaneous release of these slabs could occur in sunlit cirques and basins. Loose snow sluffs are probable on steep sunlit slopes. At the lower elevations mostly stable snow exist and avalanches are unlikely.
