Lo esencial

An AVALANCHE WARNING issued by the Bridger-Teton National Forest Avalanche Center is still valid. At the mid and upper elevations southwest winds have formed new soft slabs up to four feet in depth. Yesterday WYDOT was able to trigger avalanches that crossed the highway from the Twin Slide avalanche path on Teton Pass and the Cow of the Woods avalanche path in Hoback Canyon. Dangerous soft and hard slab avalanches up to five feet in depth are likely to be human triggered today and could release spontaneously. Expert avalanche skills are necessary for safe travel in avalanche terrain today.
