Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will initially be wet and soft but will remain well bonded and stable. Any remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. Above 900 metres the snow cover will start to slowly refreeze. Any new snow will be inconsequential. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Rain at all levels overnight with only a dusting of snow around the highest summits as freezing levels drop to around 900 metres during the day. Gale force winds throughout, South-South-East or South during the day. Observed Weather Influences: A generally mild and dry day. Winds were very strong from the South-West. ObservedSnowStability: The snow cover is soft at lower levels becoming firmer above 900 metres and is generally well bonded in all locations. There is snow cover on most aspects with greatest amounts in corries and wind sheltered features. Plateau areas above 900 metres also remain good. The avalanche hazard is Low.
