Lo esencial

The new snow hasn't changed the avalanche danger much and there is a generally LOW avalanche danger. A spotty MODERATE danger exists along the upper east facing ridges where a person could trigger a wind drift or cornice.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions: About 4 inches of dense snow fell in the last 24 hours on the Manti Skyline. Ridgetop west wind has been moderate in speed. Temperatures are in the mid 20s.

Mountain Weather: We may pick up a few more inches of snow today. West wind will continue in the moderate speed category along the upper ridges. Temperatures will remain in the mid 20s. It looks like we'll have a couple of nice days Thursday and Friday with a minor weather disturbance moving through Saturday which might bring a snowflake or two.
