A few small natural and skier triggered wet loose avalanches were observed Saturday afternoon. These avalanches occurred at treeline and ran on the thick crust described in the snowpack summary.

No other recent avalanches have been reported, observations are very limited on the island right now.

A thin crust may exist early in the morning but it will break down quickly. The snow below is likely wet.

A thick crust can be found down 5 to 25 cm at treeline and above. The snowpack below this crust is well settled and strong.

At low elevations the snowpack is disappearing quickly. Where snow remains it is isothermal.

Mostly sunny. 1 mm of rain at treeline. 30 km/h north ridgetop wind. Treeline temperature 8 °C. Freezing level 2700 m.

Sunny. 20 km/h north ridgetop wind. Treeline temperature 8 °C. Freezing level 2500 m.
