Significant precipitation last night and this morning has increased the load over the deep persistent weak layer of basal facets. Any avalanches triggered on this layer will be significant.

    Wind slabs up to 1m deep can be triggered by a person in avalanche terrain. An additional 20 to 30 cm of snow in the past 24 hours has increased the likelihood of triggering these slabs.
