Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain cold and dry with a light becoming moderate to strong, Easterly wind. Observed Weather Influences: It has been a dry day with the freezing level lowering to around 800m. Light Easterly winds. ObservedSnowStability: The colder temperatures have produced a refrozen crust on much of the snowpack. Stability is generally good. The avalanche hazard is Low.
