Lo esencial

The avalanche danger is low. Climbing conditions are good; skiing and riding conditions are not. Wind forecasts are light. Beware of falling rock and ice on the upper mountain, especially on these warm days. Today will be the warmest. Climb early and wear a helmet, know how to use an ice axe and crampons. Despite being just off Interstate 5, Mt. Shasta can still dish out real mountain hazards. Be prepared.
