Forecast Snow Stability: Significant drifting will rapidly build poorly bonded windslab onto Westerly to Northerly aspects above 800 metres where avalanches are likely. Coire rims, Gully\'s and crag aprons will be most affected. Below this level weak windslab will build in wind sheltered places. Cornices will build and be prone to sudden collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable

Winds increasing in strength to gale force South-South-Easterly from morning. With significant drifting of lying snow Observed Weather Influences: A cold bright and clear day. Dry and calm with summit temperatures around -5 deg C. ObservedSnowStability: Poorly bonded windslab, deep in places in wind sheltered locations on Southerly through West to North-Westerly aspects mostly above 900 metres. Quite limited in extent but places such as coire rims, gully tops and steep wind sheltered convex slopes are most affected. Fresh and unstable cornices are also present above these aspects. The avalanche hazard is Moderate
