More medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large gliding avalanches are possible. This applies on steep grassy slopes below approximately 2600 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided. The fresh wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in some cases in particular on very steep north and east facing slopes above approximately 2200 m. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. They are barely recognisable because of the poor visibility. Avalanches can reach medium size. In addition individual mostly small loose snow avalanches are possible. In the event of prolonged bright spells this applies on extremely steep slopes.

Up to 10 cm of snow fell on Tuesday. 20 to 30 cm of snow will fall on Wednesday. The wind will be moderate. As a consequence of new snow and wind, sometimes avalanche prone wind slabs will form in particular adjacent to ridgelines. They will be deposited on soft layers on north and east facing slopes. The snowpack is wet all the way through and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a crust. This applies on sunny slopes in all altitude zones, as well as on shady slopes below approximately 2600 m.
