Avalanche Summary

New snow and wind on Friday increase the chance that you can trigger a large avalanche that breaks near the ground. Northerly and east-facing slopes near and above treeline are the most dangerous, but don't let your guard down below treeline as snow accumulates later in the day.

Avalanche conditions worsen through the weekend as the storm continues and winds become strong midday on Saturday.
