Lo esencial

Strong west winds have formed DANGEROUS soft slabs up to three feet in depth at the mid and upper elevations. These slabs lie upon layers of lighter density snow and buried layers of crust and faceted snow. Natural avalanches are likely today. At the lower elevations pockets of new soft slab to 18 inches depth will form and could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones underlain by slick old snow surfaces. Avalanches may flow into lower elevation runout zones from above. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
