TO for 30.03 Moist snowpack will refreeze. Small amounts of fresh snow expected. Avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Snow Stability: The old stable snowpack will refreeze and become firm. Greatest amounts will be found on North through East to South-East aspects above 800 metres. New snow amounts are not expected to be significant and will mainly lie on bare ground. Any deeper accumulations will be found on South to West aspects above 800 metres and will be easily avoidable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Moderate winds from a general North-East direction will increase slightly during the day. It will remain dry overnight with snow showers from late morning onwards. The 600 metres freezing level will lower to 300 metres overnight before rising to 500 metres during the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with light winds from the South East. The freezing level remained above summit heights. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining moist stable snowpack continues to slowly thaw at all elevations. Largest areas of snow can be found on North through East to South-East aspects above 800 metres. Below this height snow cover is limited. The avalanche hazard is Low.
