The high temperatures from the late morning will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack at intermediate and high altitudes. These conditions will bring about a gradual weakening of the snowpack as the day progresses. Above approximately 2300 m mostly small moist and wet avalanches are possible.

The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust only at high altitudes and will soften during the day. On sunny slopes as well as at low and intermediate altitudes hardly any snow is lying. Here from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.

The conditions in the morning are spring-like. Increase in danger of wet avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation.
