Avalanche Activity

5 to 10 cm of snow will fall until the afternoon above approximately 1200 m. In the evening in some localities danger level 2 (moderate) will be reached.

Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in extremely steep terrain. Some fresh snow and the small wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads, above approximately 2000 m.

Snowpack Structure

The new snow and wind slabs represent the main danger. Very isolated mostly small avalanches are possible.
