Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining snow will be well bonded and demonstrate good stability throughout. Snow cover will be broken at lower levels but generally will improve above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It is expected to remain dry with the freezing level around the higher summits. Winds will be from the South-South-West veering and becoming moderate in strength from the West-South-West by afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A colder day with the freezing level around 800 metres this afternoon. Very light sleet or light snow at times. The fresh winds were from the North-West. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is firm and well bonded at all levels. Cover is broken but generally improves with height. Greatest amounts are in North to East facing corries and on higher plateau areas. The avalanche hazard is Low.
