The new snow and wind slabs of the last few days represent the main danger. Below approximately 1600 m a little snow is lying. At high altitude the avalanche danger is a little higher.
Avalanche Activity
New snow and wind slabs above approximately 1100 m. The fresh snow and the wind slabs are bonding only slowly with the old snowpack above approximately 1500 m.
Mostly small avalanches are possible. This applies especially on steep slopes especially above approximately 1600 m, and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.
