The general avalanche hazard above 9,000 feet is MODERATE today where pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth have formed in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. The general avalanche hazard below 9,000 feet is LOW today where isolated pockets of slab up to one foot in depth and loose snow sluffs could be triggered on steeper terrain. Use caution and avoid terrain traps.
