The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong winds have formed new soft slabs up to two feet in depth in wind loaded aspects. These slabs are likely to be easily triggered today on steep wind loaded terrain and near cliff areas. As sunlight and warming occur today wet slides may occur with this new snow surface.
