Avalanche Summary

The recent storm delivered feet of snow and created dangerous avalanche conditions. Obvious signs of instability, like natural avalanches, audible collapses, and shooting cracks, are waning, but any resulting avalanche will be big and hard to survive. The most dangerous slopes also harbor the softest snow: shadier and higher elevation slopes.

Slopes less than 30 degrees without steep overhead terrain, and low-elevation south-facing slopes offer safer riding options.
