At the upper elevations isolated pockets of shallow wind slab could present a hazard to people who venture into cliff areas. Some potential may remain for backcountry travelers to trigger a pocket of dense slab up to two feet deep on northerly aspects in extreme terrain. Avalanches are unlikely elsewhere.

A weak, upper level trough will bring a chance for light snow to mountains above 8,500 feet across the region. The Tetons are expected to receive one to three inches of accumulation by Wednesday night with less in the Greys River and Togwotee Pass areas. Winds at the ridge tops will be westerly at 10 to 20 miles per hour. Mountain temperatures will rise from near ten in the morning to the low 20s during the day.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely. Caution is advised in cliff areas and extreme terrain.
