Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. The few slopes you want to avoid are areas with stiff, wind-drifted snow above a terrain trap, such as a cliff below you. You will only be able to find these spots at upper elevations just below ridgelines and in gullies or couloirs above treeline. Even if you trigger an avalanche here, it will be small and will only be dangerous if it drags you through rocks or off a cliff.
