Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe from avalanches. This does not mean avalanches are impossible. The most suspect slopes are wind-loaded easterly-facing slopes at higher elevations, and slopes with shallow coverage. Give wind-scoured slopes with exposed rocks a wide berth.
