Winds over the past 72 hours have been strong at times out of the NW, W, and SW. Thin wind slabs up to 6 inches exist in isolated pockets of very exposed lee terrain at upper elevations. These wind slabs are becoming more stubborn and harder to trigger. Any resulting avalanche will be small, but getting knocked off your feet by a small avalanche in consequential terrain remains a possibility. Continue to look for drifts and pillows around the top of steep couloirs, near cliffs, and along ridgelines.
Yesterday, a large avalanche was observed in heavily wind-loaded, steep, rocky terrain. It probably slid 2 or 3 days ago, but it is a good reminder of this problem and where it is most likely to be found.

A large repeat avalanche in the St. Patrick's Day Couloir that occurred sometime late 1/20 or early 1/21. The center chute slid on 1/8 . Likely triggered by top/cross loading from strong winds of varying direction out of the north and west.
