Forecast Snow Stability: The limited snowpack will continue to thaw and be well bonded and stable throughout. Patches will remain on corrie rims, steep corrie headwalls and high plateau areas, with deepest accumulations on North through East to South-East aspects above 1000 meters. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Dry conditions will continue, clear overnight and sunny during the day. Mild with freezing levels well above the highest summits. Very strong Southerly winds will ease to fresh during the day. Observed Weather Influences: A sunny day with strong Southerly winds. The freezing level was above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: Patches of snow remain on corrie rims, steep corrie backwalls and high plateau areas. The deepest and most widespread accumulations are on North through East to South-East aspects above 1000 meters. The snowpack continues to diminish and is well bonded and stable throughout. The avalanche hazard is Low.
