Tuesday

Mostly cloudy. 15 to 25 cm of snow above 1200 m, rain below. 70 km/h south ridgetop wind. Treeline temperature reaching 2 °C. Freezing level climbing to 1800 m.

Terrain and Travel Advice

  • Avalanche activity is unlikely when a thick melt-freeze crust is present on the snow surface.
  • Pay attention to isolated wind affected features in the alpine, as well as cross-loaded features at treeline.
