Snowpack Summary

The Icefields received 15-20cm of new snow on Nov 1st. Many areas remain below threshold values for avalanches except for high alpine areas that would have accumulated enough to be a concern. Alpine bowls and steep gullies are classic spots for early season avalanches.

Weather Summary

This week will be cloudy, a bit of sun, and isolated flurries. Temperatures will range from -1 to -13 °C. No significant amounts of precipitation is forecasted.
