Avalanche Activity

Some new snow to low altitudes. The avalanche danger will persist.

The snowpack will be generally stable. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in extremely steep terrain in high Alpine regions. Hardly any increase in avalanche danger as a consequence of new snow and stormy weather.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack is largely stable. In some cases new snow is lying on a hard crust. This applies in particular on steep sunny slopes. From a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.
