Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining patchy snow will be firm, well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest amounts of snow will be found in North to East facing corries above 900 metres, patchy elsewhere. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Becoming cooler with the freezing level dropping to around 1000 metres. Generally dry with a dusting of snow late afternoon. Winds strengthening to gale force from the South-South-West.

Observed Weather Influences: Cloudy around the tops with light rain at times. Becoming clearer and brighter early afternoon. There was a moderate breeze from the South-West. ObservedSnowStability: The patchy snow continues to thaw but remains firm and well bonded. North to East facing corries above 900 metres hold greatest cover. The avalanche hazard is Low.
