Avalanche Summary

Strong winds and heavy snow on Thursday night created thick slabs of snow on steep wind-drifted slopes at the upper elevations. Watch for and avoid small areas of drifted snow at high elevations elevations. They will be harder snow and may sound like a drum, feel hollow, or produce shooting cracks.
