Avalanche Summary

The avalanche conditions remain mostly safe because it will be hard to find a spot for an avalanche to injure or bury you. You can expect to find minor cracking or even a small avalanche where a foot of fresh, soft snow sits above weak, old snow near the ground. Avoid the rare slope where a tiny ankle-biter of an avalanche could push you into a creek or off a cliff.
