Avalanche Summary

Many slopes are safe, but if you do find a drift of firm snow on a steep slope, avoid it. Intense winds may have drifted snow into unusual places. If these slabs overlay weak snow, you could trigger a small avalanche. These will also be the most tempting places to ride with continuous coverage. Even a small avalanche this time of year could be dangerous with such shallow cover.
