Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are generally safe from avalanches. The few places where you could trigger an avalanche would be where strong winds drifted snow into cohesive slabs at upper elevations. Avoid steep wind-drifts on the lee side of ridgelines or on the steep sides of cross-loaded gullies. Keep in mind that even a small avalanche can knock you over and drag you down a slope.
