Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are generally safe. Be cautious where you find wind-drifted snow on steep slopes just below a ridgeline or where loose, cohesionless snow exists on very steep slopes. The avalanches you can trigger in these isolated places will be small and only pose a serious threat if they knock you off your feet or drag you into trees or a creek bed.
