Lo esencial

At the mid and upper elevations new snow overnight added 0.65 inches of moisture to existing slabs. This new weight has increased the hazard. At the upper elevations soft slabs to two feet in depth could be human triggered or release naturally especially in previously unskied steep northerly facing avalanche starting zones. Soft slabs to 18 inches in depth could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones at the mid elevations. Loose snow sluffs could also be triggered on very steep slopes at the mid and upper elevations. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations except in isolated pockets.
