Lo esencial

DANGEROUS hard slabs up to four feet in depth exist at the mid and upper elevations. These slabs lie upon weak layers and good sliding surfaces. Yesterday evening while Teton Pass was closed by WYDOT a portion of the lower Twin Slides avalanche path released naturally and deposited 25 feet of debris on the Teton Pass Highway. HUMAN TRIGGERED AVALANCHES ARE POSSIBLE today on steep wind loaded slide paths that have not had recent avalanche activity. At the lower elevations pockets of slab up to one foot could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects.
