Lo esencial
At the highest elevations west winds will begin to form isolated pockets of new soft slab six to ten inches deep along the lee aspects of the highest ridge lines. These are forming on slick old snow surfaces and will be easily triggered by humans. On steep slopes at the mid and upper elevations the potential also persists for humans, especially those on snowmachines, to trigger pockets of soft surface slab up to 18 inches deep and deep hard slabs to the base of the snowpack. At the lower elevations avalanches are unlikely except in isolated pockets.
