Lo esencial
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE. West-southwest winds have formed new soft surface slabs up to two feet in depth in the higher elevation avalanche starting zones. These new slabs lie upon slick surfaces and well developed surface hoar. They are likely to be easily triggered by humans and may release naturally. In areas not affected by these winds loose snow sluffs are likely to be easily triggered by humans on steep avalanche prone terrain features. In addition some potenital remains for humans, especially those on snowmachines to trigger hard slabs up to six feet deep in some higher elevation avalanche paths.
