Forecast Snow Stability: Poor stability overnight Friday into Saturday. Weak windslab on all steep North-East to South-East aspects above 850m. Collapse-prone cornices above many of these locations. Snow at lower altitudes and on less steep ground will show early consolidation by the end of the day. Better stability on wind scoured aspects. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable

Forecast Weather Influences: Snow showers continue overnight then dry from before dawn onwards. Moderate Westerly airflow easing later and becoming South-Westerly. Remaining cold. Observed Weather Influences: Frequent snow showers. Winds from all points of the compass, latterly West-North-Westerly and strong. Cold.
