In steep rocky terrain individual loose snow slides are possible. As the day progresses the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase in particular below approximately 2000 m. As a consequence of new snow and a moderate wind from southerly directions, mostly small wind slabs will form in the course of the day above approximately 2000 m. Some small avalanches are possible.
The weather conditions will give rise to softening of the snowpack. This applies in particular below approximately 1700 m. As a consequence of snowfall above approximately 2000 m and the southerly wind, fresh snow drift accumulations will form in the course of the day. These are mostly only small.
