Deep persistent slab avalanches are possible in isolated areas. These very large and dangerous avalanches are most likely to be triggered by snow machines or a cornice failure. The wet snow avalanche hazard will be low in the morning and will increase to moderate during the warmest portion of the day. Depending on the location 5 am temperatures are similar to or several degrees warmer than they were yesterday morning. Warm temperatures and sunshine will soften snow surfaces and increase the wet snow avalanche hazard on very steep slopes. Wet snow slides are possible on steep sunlit aspects. Cornice failures and roof slides are possible. Monitor conditions and avoid steep terrain after snow surfaces become wet.
Deep persistent slab avalanches could be triggered with depths of three to six feet. Previous tracks do not validate stability. These large and destructive slab avalanches may become more sensitive to human triggers after snow surfaces dampen. Large cornice drops are possible and could trigger a deep persistent slab avalanche.

Daytime highs will rise into the 30s and 40s in the mountains and to near 50 in the valleys. Winds will be from the east and generally light with moderate gusts on the higher peaks.In all areas the wet snow avalanche hazard will be low in the early morning hours and rise to moderate after snow surfaces soften. In the Togwotee Pass and Greys River/Southwest Trails areas dangerous persistent slab avalanches with depths to six feet are a potential hazard in isolated areas. In these areas the general avalanche will be moderate all day.
